Namasia District Namasia Mincyuan Elementary School
The architectural team of this project, Bio-architecture Formosana, based the design on the local environmental climate. In terms of configuration, the campus’ southern entrance is used to welcome the south wind and promote a convective air environment. To the north, the architecture blocks the cold northeast monsoon in winter, forming a south-faced activity square. Classrooms are equipped with skylights and that bring an even dispersion of sunlight and reduce the use of artificial lighting. Side skylights are set to provide ventilation in summer and maintain warmth in winter. With sufficient strong wind and sunshine, the campus boasts both wind power and solar power generation systems, becoming the first "net zero-energy" campus in Taiwan.
那瑪夏/那瑪夏民權國小
2009年,莫拉克風災,那瑪夏民權國小校舍幾乎全遭土石流掩埋。隔年,學校遷於現址,開始新校園的重建,新校園於2011年正式啟用。若將2009年八八風災視為一次大自然的反撲,那麼便可將2010年學校的重建視為一次嘗試與大自然握手言和的機會。
設計團隊-九典聯合建築師事務所以尊重在地氣候環境為出發,配置上利用校園南邊開口迎接南風,促進校園整體風環境的對流,北邊的量體則用以阻檔冬季時冷冽的東北季風,塑造南向的冬季活動廣場。教室空間設置北向採光天窗配合高明度的室內材料,將陽光均勻的帶入室內,減少人工照明的使用。另設置有側向天窗,於夏天時可供通風,冬天則關上保暖。配合高山上充足的強風與日照,設置風力發電與太陽能發電系統,最終達成全台第一座達到「淨零耗能」的校園。
