Cianjin Hanshin Department Store
Open from 1995, the Han-Lai New World Center is located at the intersection of Chenggong 1st Rd . and Xintian Rd. in Qianjin District, Kaohsiung. The center, designed by architect Chen Yao-dong, features a three-section base, roof, and cornice façade typical in Western classicism as an overall design. The base is grand and square in shape, whereas the building’s main body slants inward to imitate the feng shui symbol of “promotion and wealth.” The structure features neoclassical-style symmetric and proportional designs as well as traditional American retro aesthetics. A dark blue mansard roof adorns the top. The building is 186 meters high with 45 aboveground and 7 underground floors. Floor levels three to eight are occupied by the Hanshin Department Store, whereas the ninth to 45th floor are occupied by the Grand Hi-Lai Hotel.
前金／漢神百貨
漢神百貨，亦名為「漢來新世界中心」，座落於高雄市前金區成功一路與新田路口，於1995年落成啟用，樓高186公尺，整座建築包含地上45層及地下7層，其中地下三層至地上八層為漢神百貨，地上九層至地上四十五層為漢來大飯店。
漢來新世界中心由陳耀東建築師所設計，整體造型為典型的西方古典主義的三段式立面，分別是基座、屋身和簷口。其基座宏大方正，而屋身則分成三個部分，每部分往內退縮，形成東方傳統「升官發財」的風水文化表徵，最上部則覆蓋深藍色馬薩式屋頂。整座建築展現出新古典主義風格建築的對稱性與比例分割，也呈現美國傳統摩天大樓的復古美學。
漢神百貨是高雄第一家引進精品店中店的百貨公司，見證舊大統百貨停業後，具有高雄商圈轉移以及消費模式轉變的指標性意義。
