Artist Liang Ren-hong transformed sea patrol personnel into dragons to show their fearless spirit in guarding and protecting the people by creating the artwork “Dragon Turning the Tail”. As a southern artist, Liang frequently designs dynamic sculpture; he is the creator of many large-scale wind-powered artworks. Dragon Turning the Tail is powered by the never-ending sea breeze; thus, the artwork’s movement speed is determined by Mother Nature. This symbolizes sea patrol personnel’s care for the environment, ability to adapt to nature, and respect and love for the people.
