Kaohsiung Philharmonic Cultural and Arts Foundation
Once named the Kaohsiung City Symphony Orchestra Cultural and Arts Education Foundation, Kaohsiung Philharmonic Cultural and Arts Foundation was sponsored and established along with Kaohsiung City Chinese Orchestra Cultural Foundation in December 2001.
In 2011, the Bureau of Cultural Affairs entrusted the Foundation to manage and operate the Dadong Arts Center performance hall. The foundation’s administrative team, alongside two in-house orchestras, undertakes the task of introducing high-quality programs, providing technical support and cooperating with performance groups in organizing diverse artistic events.

Cultural Bus
Kaohsiung City Government operates six Cultural Bus routes: Old Town (Old Fongshan City), Fongshan District, Hamasen, Mount Dagang and Dashu District. The Old Town, Fongshan and Hamasen routes have Mandarin-speaking tour guides, though English brochures are provided to foreign tourists who hop aboard.

Cultural Cruise
The Kaohsiung Cultural Yacht Fleet has a total of 4 main routes, including "The British Consulate at Takow," " Kaohsiung Port Warehouse No.2 " and “Hongmaogang Cultural Park.” It is the only package tour offered in the country that visits three major waterfront parks to experience culture at sea. During the cruise, a tour guide will introduce various harbor facilities and the development of Kaohsiung Port. Landmarks, views and special ships on each side of the harbor are seen along the way. After arriving at each destination, visitors can also choose to participate in scheduled tour services.
