“May We All Be Blessed with Longevity: A Tribute Concert to the Classics of Teresa Teng,” one of the highlights of the 17th Kaohsiung Spring Arts Festival, will take place on June 6 at the Hi-Ing Music Hall of the Kaohsiung Music Center. Conducted by Yang Chih-Chin, the Kaohsiung Symphony Orchestra will perform live, joined by Julia Peng, Olivia Tsao, Freya Lim and Where Chou, who will bring to life many of Teresa Teng’s most beloved classics. From The Moon Represents My Heart to I Only Care About You, these familiar melodies will be reimagined through the rich textures of a symphony orchestra, revealing an unprecedented depth of emotion.

Timeless classics by Teresa Teng will be featured in this concert, including May We All Be Blessed with Longevity, The Moon Represents My Heart, I Only Care About You, The Story of a Small Town, Tian Mi Mi (Sweet Honey), When Will You Return?, Tsugunai (Atonement), Aijin (Lover), and Tuberose, among many others. These melodies, which have accompanied countless people throughout their lives, will be reimagined through newly arranged orchestral scores and performed live by the Kaohsiung Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Yang Chih-Chin.
