We are pleased to announce that the Kaohsiung Music Center will be the venue for the "2024 True Love Show, Sapphire Hall". This event is the ideal setting for a family reunion on Father's Day, and we invite you to enjoy exclusive show memories of Kaohsiung together.
In recent years, Kaohsiung has emerged as the pop music capital of Taiwan, with international superstar groups choosing to hold concerts in the city, attracting over one million attendees and generating economic benefits of NT$100 million. This has led to an endless stream of people and money for Kaohsiung.
The four advantages of Kaohsiung—spacious venues, convenient transportation, a stable climate, and mature professional support from the public and private sectors—make the "concert economy" a natural fit. Kaohsiung Music Center boasts unique software, hardware, and environmental conditions, in addition to the city's picturesque harbor scenery and Sea Breeze Plaza in the park. The venue's state-of-the-art facilities include a large soundscape sound system, Hi-Ing Music Hall, and the LIVE WAREHOUSE. These features have contributed to the creation of new concert experiences and have established Kaohsiung Music Center as a leading destination for music fans. In line with its mission to "create program content and stage with Kaohsiung characteristics," Kaohsiung Music Center is committed to energizing music performances, concert production, music talent cultivation, entertainment industry development, and other aspects. "True Love Show. Sapphire Hall" is one of the most distinctive activities in this regard.
The Sapphire Concert Hall has been a prominent entertainment venue in southern Taiwan from the 1970s to the 1990s. In 2022, the Kaohsiung Music Center successfully recreated the "True Love Show" for the first time. The "Sapphire Hall" in Hi-Ing Music Hall welcomed Monique Lin and Chen Mei-Fen, along with Chris Hung and other veteran singers. The performance evoked fond memories for many elders and offered younger fans a glimpse of the show's former glory.
Sapphire Hall will resume performances this August. The cast includes veteran artists such as Yu Tian, Huang Hsi-Tien, A Chi, Linda Lee, Tseng Hsin-Mei, Olivia Tsao, Danny Shao, Eason Lee, Tien Du, and others. The show will feature a strong sense of inheritance and change, with a particular focus on enhancing the humorous variety of elements and short play bridge. This will increase the level of performance, ensuring that attendees who participated in the concert this year and those who engaged with the stage via zero-distance interaction will feel a sense of presence on the show stage. Host Hu Gua also mentioned that Kaohsiung Music Center will not only recreate Sapphire Hall, but also revive Sapphire Hall. We warmly invite you to enter the "True Love Show." Once again, we invite you to enjoy the bright stage of modern sound and light effects and the meeting of the past generation, as well as recall the exclusive memories of Kaohsiung's show!
