Enjoy An Artful Spring Break with Your Family
Kaohsiung is a charming and welcoming city. It has a pleasant climate and convenient transportation, making it a top choice for many large-scale events. In February, the Rubber Duck attracted over 9 million visitors. Since March, a series of large-scale concerts have made Kaohsiung a destination for music fans. Kaohsiung will host the Spring Art Festival and various family-friendly arts and culture activities in April. Parents are encouraged to bring their children for a fun, educational, and artistic spring break.
Kaohsiung is a city full of cultural energy and creativity. In recent years, various arts and cultural venues have become popular cultural attractions in the southern region. We invite parents and children to participate in outdoor art activities during the spring holidays of Children's Day and Qingming Festival. The activity aims to enhance aesthetic quality and expand imagination space in an artistic and cultural atmosphere. It also cultivates the ability to appreciate art and focuses on parent-child interaction through physical contact and verbal dialogue. This strengthens emotional bonds and family cohesion.
During spring break, several arts venues are hosting art fairs, including Pier-2 Art Center, Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts, Kaohsiung Main Public Library, Kaohsiung Museum of History, Kaohsiung Film Archive, Hongmaogang Cultural Park, Kaohsiung Confucius Temple, Center of Old Fongshan City History, Kaohsiung Museum of Shadow Puppet, Siaoyao Villa, Fongyi Academy, Taiwan Pineapple Museum, Former Cishan Railway Station, British Consulate at Takow, and Kaohsiung Music Center. This text promotes various family-friendly arts and cultural activities, including DIY, challenges, children's theater, play experiences, parent-child rhythm, and picture book storytelling. The activities are diverse, with rich content, and are both artistic and interesting. Families can immerse themselves in the cultural and artistic atmosphere. The Kaohsiung Spring Arts Festival introduced four parent-child programs from April to May. These programs include The Charm of the Waters, IARA, Supermom: KCO Family Concert, Our Little Sun: KSO Family Concert, and Miwa Matreyek's World Fantastic Universe. Tickets for these performances are available for purchase and make great gifts for children. Families are welcome to join us in the performance hall.
Welcome to Kaohsiung! Experience the city's rich culture and artistic charm during your four-day spring break on this mild day with a gentle breeze.
