Unlimited Potential Shines Online at the 2020 Youth Innovative Design Festival
The COVID19 epidemic brought impact to many areas of life. This difficult time, however, sparked creativity that strives to overcome adversity! Unlike its predecessors, the 11th Youth Innovative Design Festival is a digital online exhibition featuring nearly 700 competitive works from 22 schools and 39 departments. These designers-in-training will demonstrate what they have accumulated in the past four years on a digital platform. We will also hold an Internet Popularity Award selected by popular vote.
Design aims to make life better and solve inconveniences. Students take this opportunity to challenge themselves and seek transformation and growth possibilities. From daily life to culture, the designers combine visual beauty with functionality, which is not an easy task. "Education" plays
an important and irreplaceable role in this process. Through education, students are able to practice basic concepts and formulate independent thought, exercise professional skills, hone personal styles, and create unique design works. Their work may be a little immature, though it is a gateway to a professional field and a foundation for future employment.
Inexperience is part of youth. As tender new shoots need abundant nutrients to mature, youth is an endless challenge that leads to personal growth, strength, and enriched experience. The Youth Innovative Design Festival is an integral to students’ growth. We hope that all participants will be able to gain great experience and continue to shine as a designer.
