Consisting of two pieces, the puppet depicts the birth of Ling Zhuzi in FengShen Bang (The Creation of the Gods). One is a piece of leather in its original color with red curved lines that represent a human belly; the other is the same material etched into a lively child who wears a red belly-wrap and red headband. Ling Zhuzi used to be a magical weapon of the Primeval Lord of Heaven, the highest deity of religious Taoism, and was later reincarnated into Prince Li Nezha.
