Huang Wen-yung, one of the creators of the artwork and an expert in digital photography and digital audio and video design, worked with Cheng Kuang-pai, an artist renowned for his ability to join hard ironware and lustrous glass together, to create the aforementioned artwork. The artwork comprises five paintings that embody the themes of “land cultivation,” “hunting in mountains and forests,” “love in the Universe,” “tending to rivers and valleys,” and “fish in oceans.” Mandala totem designs were adopted to convey a sense of strong vitality. The bronze sculptures with colored glaze made by manually beating and mounting various components ooze a magnificent ambiance under warm lights.
鳳山是高雄最早發展的區域，位於捷運鳳山站的公共藝術《蒼穹光舞》，即在講述先民篳路藍縷的精神與拓荒的故事。
擅長數位攝影、數位音像設計的黃文勇，與以剛硬鐵器結合璀璨玻璃聞名的乘光˙白，兩位藝術家共同合作創作的《蒼穹光舞》，這五張圖分別代表著大地之耕、山林之獵、宇宙之愛、河谷之牧及海洋之漁五種主題，曼陀羅圖騰則呈現出旺盛生命力的氛圍，以手工敲打鑲置的方式創造出琉璃銅雕藝術，在溫暖的光源下散發出華麗的色彩。
