Ji Gong’s face is carved in relief, so his face is composed of lines. He has exaggerated, hilarious facial expressions; his eyes dramatically slant downward, and his mouth is open, baring his teeth. He wears a monk’s hat resembling two hands joined in prayer, a quilted garb, and a pair of straw shoes, with a straw fan in his hand. He is a major character in "Ji Gong Crushing the Magical Formation of Suoyang and Ji Gong Subduing Demons".
